Bitcoin approaches $80,000 as ETF inflows and short squeeze intensify
|
|
Bitcoin climbed as high as $79,400 on Friday and is up almost 24% since Monday, putting it on pace for its strongest week since March 2023. The latest leg higher came as short liquidations kept cascading and U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs logged another large day of net inflows, leaving the market focused on whether $80,000 can hold once weekend ETF trading begins.

CFTC prepares stand-alone crypto market rules if Clarity Act stalls
|
|
CFTC Chairman Mike Selig said the agency will begin building a crypto-asset-market rule set under existing authority if Congress cannot pass the Clarity Act. That matters because it suggests U.S. market structure reform may keep advancing through regulators even if the Senate remains deadlocked.

Strategy swings back to profit as bitcoin rally restores treasury cushion
|
|
Strategy’s 840,447 BTC position has moved back above its average purchase price, returning the company to an unrealized profit after spending much of the year underwater. The rebound eases pressure on the largest public bitcoin treasury and improves the backdrop for renewed corporate accumulation if prices stay firm.

South Korean traders pile back into crypto as Upbit volume surges
|
|
Upbit’s 24-hour trading volume jumped 273% as Korean retail traders returned during bitcoin’s rebound, while Bithumb volume also surged sharply. Korean flows have historically amplified global crypto moves, so a sustained local comeback would add another source of momentum beyond U.S. ETF demand.

For AI Investors Who Do Their Homework Before They Buy.
Most people will chase the next AI IPO on hype alone and get burned. If you'd rather understand the timeline, the retail access window, and the risk buried in the filings before you commit a dollar, the free briefing is built for you.
🟢 New demand record for 2026.
Apparent demand keeps growing and has now reached +25,000 BTC.
This is a very positive development that I was expecting.
Bullish momentum backed by real spot demand is a much healthier move.
In other words, this means we currently have more buyers than BTC being produced.
We are seeing a lot of indicators turning green but we need to monitor this closely to be sure this is sustainable.
⌈💡Here, Apparent Demand is calculated as the difference between new BTC issuance and the amount of supply that has remained inactive for more than one year.
This metric helps estimate whether structural accumulation is strong enough to absorb the new supply created by the network.⌋

🗞️ BTC’s best day since February 2026 triggers record STH profit taking
Yesterday, BTC closed its best day since February 2026 with +7.1%.
This day didn't leave STH quiet.
💥 Yesterday they sent over 44,300 BTC in profit to exchanges.
👉 This marks their largest profit-taking of 2026, as BTC moved above their cost basis sitting at ~$67,100.
Several catalysts drove this performance.
• Bessent announced yesterday that the U.S. will proceed with long-term treasury buybacks and would double it, which had an immediate effect of deflating long-term yields.
• This was followed by a speech from Trump at the White House during a crypto-dedicated meeting, where he announced that the U.S. is considering buying a sizeable amount of BTC.
• He also urged Congress to pass the Clarity Act and expressed his desire to bring Hyperliquid to the U.S.
Is this still speculation, or a genuine intent from the president to make the U.S. the number one country in crypto ?
⚠️ Meanwhile, STH are stirring, and these are behaviors worth watching closely as BTC tries to break through key resistances like the STH cost basis.

What is Clarity Act ? The SEC spent years suing crypto companies over one question: security or commodity?
On 15 September the Senate starts voting on the CLARITY Act. Bitcoin becomes a commodity like gold, permanently. Institutions get their green light.
The country that chased crypto away is about to legalise it. India, take notes.

🚨 BITCOIN IS BEING MANIPULATED AND I’VE GOT PROOF.
You just watched $BTC pump from $62.5K to $79.5K with almost no major news.
Same script.
Over and over again.
$63K → $70K → $65K $65K → $73K → $63K $62K → $79K → $58K?
This is a LIQUIDITY HUNT.
And this latest pump made it even more obvious.
More than $3.1 BILLION worth of crypto shorts were liquidated in 24 hours.
One of the biggest short liquidation events in crypto history.
But everyone is watching the candles.
I’m watching the FLOWS.
Within SECONDS, Wintermute, Binance, Coinbase and ETF-linked wallets were all active.
Huge blocks started moving.
Massive buys hit thin order books.
Shorts got destroyed.
Retail saw the breakout and immediately started FOMOing back into longs.
THIS IS THE TRAP.
Because now the liquidity has completely flipped.
And more than $12 BILLION in long liquidations are still sitting below.
That is exactly what I’m watching next.
→ Pump price and liquidate shorts → Trap retail into fresh longs → Dump price and liquidate longs
They farm BOTH sides.
No major headline is needed.
Just leverage, thin liquidity and enough traders positioned in the same direction.
The $62K → $79K pump was not the beginning of a new bull market for me.
My downside target is still around $50K–$58K.
That is where I’ll start looking for the real bottom.
I’ve studied macro for 10 years and called almost every major market top, including the October BTC ATH.
Follow and turn notifications on.
I’ll post the warning BEFORE the next liquidation cascade begins.

Bitcoin just had its first GOD CANDLE in well over a year and the reason why is WAYYY more important than the price action
We all know Tump posted to "buy all crypto assets" to Truth Social, and then gave a hard shill on live TV... but that's not why the market went bananas... he's been doing that for 2 years
The real reason is that Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent just forcefully intervened in the Bond Market
This signals that the Trump Admin is NOT comfortable with interest rates, and need to stop things from getting out of hand
The timing isn't a coincidence, this comes as hyperscalers have run out of cash and are forced to raise debt to continue financing the AI buildout
The future of the AI dream relies on cheap debt, and that means the Treasury, and quite possibly the FED, will need to become the buyers of that debt
Bessent signaled this morning that he is willing to do this repeatedly (as needed) to stabilize the long end of the curve.
For the first time Bitcoin is a direct beneficiary of the AI buildout.
Long Digital AND Physical Gold is the trade if this continues $BTC $GOLD $META $GOOG $NVDA $AMZN

Japan was always the exception used to justify runaway debt. 200%+ debt/GDP and no formal default.
Now the US is helping defend the yen while Treasury expands buybacks for “liquidity support”. Turns out, we’re starting to look a lot more like Japan...
Study Japan. Buy Bitcoin. https://t.co/tzxa9AmmcV
