U.S. strikes on Iran widen oil-shock risks heading into the Fed meeting
The United States launched new airstrikes on Iran after U.S. troop deaths, while Iran fired missiles toward Jordan and pressure around the Strait of Hormuz intensified. For bitcoin, the immediate macro read-through is higher energy-price risk, renewed safe-haven demand for dollars, and more uncertainty just days before the July 29 Fed decision.

Bitcoin options traders make a multibillion-dollar bet on $72,000 by month-end
Deribit flow showed a roughly $2.5 billion notional bull call spread targeting $72,000 by the July 31 expiry, two days after the Fed meeting. The trade signals that large players are positioning for a post-FOMC upside move even as Iran-driven oil risk clouds the inflation outlook.

New quantum recovery proof offers Bitcoin owners a fallback after a future Q-Day
Project Eleven says it has built a zero-knowledge proof system that could let legitimate bitcoin owners prove control of vulnerable wallets after quantum computers can forge signatures. The idea remains experimental and would require audits plus contentious Bitcoin rule changes, but it advances one of the network’s most important long-term security debates.

Bitcoin Long-Term Holder Supply just hit a new ATH While price consolidates, the OGs are stacking harder than ever.

Strong hands refusing to sell = massive supply shock incoming.

This is textbook accumulation. The real move is still ahead. https://t.co/z5EAzcVlzd

I’ve been through the 24-hour, 1-week, 1-month and 3-month liquidation heatmaps, and they’re all pointing me in the same direction.

The biggest pool of liquidity above us is still sitting around $65,000–66,000.

But what stands out to me is that price has already spent days rejecting that area without being able to break into it.

Meanwhile, liquidity below keeps building.

The $62,000 region is now one of the cleanest short-term targets, and if sellers stay in control, I wouldn’t be surprised to see price sweep that before making another attempt higher.

The three-month heatmap also still has a huge amount of untouched liquidity sitting much lower.

I’m not saying Bitcoin has to go there...

But I do think the market usually takes the easiest liquidity first.

Right now, that still looks like it's below us before we see a proper move back into the mid-$60,000s.

Short-term holders, who have a remarkable tendency to sell at the exact bottom, are signaling that the bottom is in because they’ve already sold. https://t.co/jqUJUIiGN2
