Bitcoin retakes $82,000 as oil retreats and China growth surprises to upside
Bitcoin climbed back above $82,000 as Nasdaq futures and Asian stocks firmed after stronger China data and weaker oil. The bounce underscores that macro cross-asset flows, not crypto-specific catalysts, remain the main driver of near-term BTC direction.

China’s third-quarter GDP accelerates, lifting global risk mood and Bitcoin sentiment
China’s National Bureau of Statistics said third-quarter GDP grew 4.5% year over year, up from 4.3% in the second quarter, with 4.6% growth across the first nine months. The firmer print improved the global risk tone at the open and gave Bitcoin a macro tailwind to start the week.

Oil drops after Russia sanctions waiver, easing a key macro headwind
Oil fell about 2% after President Donald Trump’s Russia sanctions waiver, while global equity futures stabilized. For Bitcoin, cheaper crude matters because it eases the inflation-and-rates pressure that has been weighing on risk assets this month.

Bitcoin-miner offshoot loses Microsoft AI deal as UK power bottlenecks worsen
Nscale, a company born from bitcoin mining, lost a planned Microsoft AI data-center deal after UK grid power delays stretched into the 2030s. The setback highlights the execution risk in miners’ pivot toward AI and the growing strategic value of power access.

So much for "Black Monday".

Crypto up, index futures up, metals up.
Pretty big as well.

Still don't get where all the excessive fear came from but the same happens every time these extreme calls are being spread around the timeline.

Anyways, back to normal. https://t.co/KxMoAj6XAX

Worst week for Nasdaq in 18 months.
Oil > $100.
VIX above 22.

And still, $BTC managed another weekly close above $82,000.

But that doesn't mean it's completely in a safe zone.

For strong momentum, Bitcoin needs to reclaim $84,500, or else we could see another correction below $80,000.

Bitcoin is now facing two major problems. The first problem: approximately 1–1.1 million coins related to Satoshi Nakamoto, most of which are in early P2PK addresses, with public keys directly exposed on the chain from the very beginning. Once a sufficiently powerful quantum computer emerges, in theory, the private key can be reverse-engineered from the public key using Shor's algorithm. The total exposed public key BTC amounts to about 6.4–7.1 million coins (approximately 30–35% of the supply), including address reuse, Taproot, and so on. Once breached, Bitcoin will plummet 99% in a short time. The second problem: Could we freeze these dormant coins through a proposal? It's theoretically feasible. But it would violate the core spirit of blockchain—"unfreezable, unconfiscatable, private key supremacy." This would likely also destroy Bitcoin. With the advent of the AI era, the pace of breakthroughs in quantum computing has already exceeded imagination, with various models pointing to a breakthrough by 2028 or earlier. These two problems are already the most urgent issues facing the Bitcoin community and even the entire crypto space.

Bitcoin pulled back towards $80k over the weekend, but the correction remains remarkably shallow, particularly given the challenging macro backdrop and the strength of the rally since August.

Pullbacks since the August rally have remained below 9%, while onchain sell-side pressure continues to be relatively small.

In our latest piece, @_Checkmatey_ examines Bitcoin's current correction, and how price action and investor behaviour compare with previous early bull market recoveries.

Crypto Google trends continue to decline, and the market is filled with disbelief. The current structure is very similar to Q4 2022 & Q1 2023. We may see choppy price action for a while, but the dips from these levels are now buying opportunities. Great years are ahead. https://t.co/QgTZbWfcap

Honestly this high time frame chart is so clean

While most people are talking about a full on stock market crash, black Monday, war escalation and the end of the world

I think we are about to pull a quick $10,000 candle to the upside

Watch it #Bitcoin https://t.co/ni10FL3Ga7
