Swiss watchdog clears first retail spot Bitcoin ETF under domestic law
|
|
Switzerland’s FINMA approved the country’s first spot bitcoin ETF for retail investors, giving Europe a new regulated vehicle that directly holds BTC under Swiss fund rules. The regulator paired approval with extra custody, operational and disclosure safeguards, while stressing that bitcoin remains highly risky.

JPMorgan debuts decade-long bitcoin return forecast, penciling in 10% CAGR
|
|
J.P. Morgan Asset Management issued its first long-term bitcoin assumption, projecting 10% annual compounded returns with 55% volatility. The bank still kept bitcoin outside its main portfolio models, but said clearer regulation, improving liquidity and ETF infrastructure could eventually support broader allocation.

Bitcoin holds near $83,000 as AI earnings rekindle broader risk appetite
|
|
Bitcoin traded around $83,000 after strong SpaceX and Super Micro results lifted Asian chip stocks and Nasdaq futures, helping crypto recover with broader risk assets. CoinDesk also flagged Hashdex data showing short-term holders now control just 16% of supply, a sign that near-term seller pressure may be easing even as Brent crude stays above $110.

The Robot Boom Is Here. Which Company Comes Out on Top?
Robots are moving into factories, warehouses and hospitals faster than most people realize. When a new industry takes off like this, the instinct is to buy a basket of names and hope one of them hits.
The trouble is that baskets dilute your winners. In a lot of booms, a single company ends up taking the lion's share, while everyone holding the other six watches from the sidelines.
Our report names the one robot company we think comes out on top, and explains why. It normally sells for $19.99, but today it's free. Opt in and we'll also text you alerts on the stock, so you don't miss a move.

My senses are going off.
Something is happening.
All of a sudden, Fidelity and BlackRock are putting out promotional pieces on Bitcoin.
BlackRock's IBIT just took in $665M in a single day, its biggest inflow in over a year.
J.P. Morgan is now predicting Bitcoin will be the best performing asset over the next decade.
The Bitcoin bull market is going to kick off in a big way.

Within roughly 48 hours:
JPMorgan formally modeled Bitcoin outperforming traditional asset classes over the long term.
Fidelity published research presenting Bitcoin-backed preferred stock as an emerging capital-market demand channel.
BlackRock pursued another Bitcoin investment product while IBIT experienced exceptional inflows.
Imagine showing a Bitcoiner from October 2023 these headlines.
They would’ve assumed you were crazy.
And now it’s just a random Tuesday.

🚨BULLISH: Bitcoin’s short-term holder profit-taking has cooled after driving the biggest exchange inflows in a year and adding pressure to prices.
The activity has now returned to its yearly average, per Glassnode, suggesting the recent wave of sell†ing pressure is easing. https://t.co/CaINjRalwU

First time in 31 editions that JPM puts a number on Bitcoin. Interesting though that the same report keeps it out of its allocation models. The reason given is the 55% expected volatility sitting next to the 10%. Two thirds of that base case is a model of global money supply growing against a fixed supply of 21 million.
The 55% is exactly what a Bitcoin treasury company’s capital structure is built to carry. The equity absorbs the volatility, the preferred holds a fixed claim on the asset compounding underneath it. An allocator who cannot hold 55% vol can hold a fixed claim secured by it, i.e., digital credit.
