US PCE inflation reaccelerates, challenging hopes for a friendlier year-end Fed
|
|
The Fed’s preferred inflation gauge accelerated in September, with headline PCE rising 3.6% year over year and 0.5% month over month, while core PCE picked up to 3.1% from 3.0%. For bitcoin, the hotter print keeps higher-for-longer rate risk alive and raises the odds that yields and the dollar stay a headwind into year-end.

US warns allies on possible Iran strikes, keeping oil risk elevated
|
|
The US warned allies to prepare for possible strikes on Iran and retaliation after the election, while regional attacks on Saudi energy infrastructure have already raised supply concerns. For bitcoin, the immediate channel is macro: higher oil risk can harden inflation expectations and complicate the rates outlook.

Lagarde’s early ECB exit adds new uncertainty to Europe’s rates path
|
|
ECB President Christine Lagarde said she will step down on February 7, leaving early as the euro area grapples with inflation pressure and French bond-market strain. The leadership change adds fresh uncertainty around Europe’s policy path and sovereign-spread risk, both relevant to global liquidity and crypto sentiment.

You are sitting on $100k to $2 million of data
OpenAI, Micro1 and Anthropic have paid out billions of dollars to partner with companies on their operational data. It's creating a new revenue stream for businesses over 20 people and pays anywhere from $100k - $2 million a pop.
🚨BREAKING: Bitcoin falls below $80,000 and Ethereum slips under $2,300 after the Fed holds rates steady.
More than $100 MILLION in long positions were reportedly liquidated in two hours as persistent inflation, rising oil prices and geopolitical tensions weigh on risk assets. https://t.co/9ddG56xiqT

🚨 FED JUST GOT A STRONG REASON TO HIKE RATES.
US PCE inflation and Q3 GDP data were released, and both came in favour of hiking rates.
PCE inflation rose to 3.6%, its highest level in 3 months.
US Q3 GDP data came in at 3.4%, higher than expectations of 3.2%.
This means the economic growth is strong while inflation is picking up.
This gives the Fed more room to hike rates without stopping economic growth.
Right now, December's rate hike odds are at 83%, and it'll go up after today's data.

🚨 BREAKING: Three new Bitcoin Core vulnerabilities discovered including a bug allowing attackers to remotely brick nodes.
The vulnerabilities include two medium-severity flaws that could allow malicious peers to exhaust node memory and a third that could corrupt blockchain undo data under extreme conditions. @ProjectLoupe, an AI-powered security initiative at @spiral_xyz, independently identified the vulnerabilities alongside other researchers, including @L0RINC of the #Bitcoin Red Team 🟥.
Fixes have been released in Bitcoin Core versions 29.5, 30.4, 31.2, and 32.1, although certain 32-bit and FAT32 configurations remain vulnerable to the third issue.

A CRM so smart, it updates itself.
HubSpot's CRM is so smart, it now updates itself. Calls get logged and summarized the moment they end. New leads get researched and a first outreach drafted, automatically. Deals move forward on their own, with next steps flagged before you have to ask.
Even the one repetitive task you've been meaning to fix can now run itself, no code required. Customers using it are already seeing the difference.
This isn't the CRM you have to work hard to figure out. It's the one already working before you log in.
