US spot bitcoin ETFs suffer $643 million reversal as institutional bid cracks
US spot bitcoin ETFs swung from a modest $17.2 million inflow on Oct. 29 to a $643.2 million net outflow on Oct. 30. BlackRock’s IBIT led the pullback with $233.7 million out, followed by Fidelity’s FBTC at $201.0 million and ARKB at $129.5 million, signaling a sharp deterioration in institutional demand into month-end.

Bitcoin hashrate tops one zettahash again as difficulty squeezes miners
Hashrate Index said Bitcoin’s 7-day average hashrate has moved back above 1,000 EH/s, and the Oct. 29 difficulty adjustment added another 5.54%, taking difficulty to 148.36T. The rebound strengthens network security, but it also compresses miner margins and raises the odds of balance-sheet stress or higher selling pressure from less efficient fleets.

Volatility Shares advances first US 3x bitcoin ETF toward launch
Volatility Shares filed Amendment No. 2 to its S-1 for a planned 3x Bitcoin ETF on Oct. 30, another step toward bringing the first US triple-levered listed bitcoin fund to market. The filing also makes clear the fund has not yet commenced operations or issued shares, so trading still depends on the registration becoming effective.

Hashdex adds Jane Street to crypto ETF primary-market plumbing roster
Hashdex disclosed that Jane Street signed an authorized participant agreement for the Hashdex Nasdaq CME Crypto Index ETF on Oct. 27, adding a major ETF market maker to the fund’s create-redeem machinery. More AP capacity can improve liquidity and arbitrage efficiency for crypto ETF baskets, even if the filing itself is mostly market plumbing.

Saw a few discussions about size of hack, why impact to bitcoin price is small, etc. 👇

$6.3 billion is the biggest in USD terms, but not in BTC terms. MtGox was 650,000 BTC!

Other important numbers to consider:

% of bitcoin (in relation to BTC total supply), ie, market impact. MtGox is big there again at 5%+.

Number of users impacted, and % of user assets impacted. MtGox (the largest CEX at the time) and FTX (not small) were all near 100% of users and their asseets.

Most important: Who is impacted? Does the platform cover it all? (only one victim), as in recent two CEX cases and Binance.

Obviously, still a major disaster for the industry, Binance (and me). It hurts, but we survive.

Most importantly, we protect our users.

🚨LATEST: Binance hackers are using NEVER SEEN BEFORE laundering patterns as stolen funds are being rapidly circulated through thousands of transactions, per Chainalysis.

Instead of moving funds along a straightforward trail, the attackers repeatedly send them between wallets, including back to addresses used earlier.

The speed and repeated patterns suggest automation designed to obscure the money trail.

Binance’s Richard Teng says the attackers used a “self-destruct mechanism” to destroy tools and traces during the intrusion.

Early findings from Elliptic showed almost NONE of the stolen funds had reached mixers, bridges or exchanges, making the unusual wallet movements particularly striking.

They also rushed to swap freezeable stablecoins into assets such as ETH and move funds between addresses before blacklists could catch up. These efforts were only partly successful.

The tactics complicate tracing and recovery, but they do not make the stolen funds invisible.

CHAINALYSIS HACKED IN AI-POWERED CYBERATTACK

Blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis says hackers used “offensive agentic techniques” to gain unauthorized access to its internal systems and tools.

The breach exposed customer names, email addresses, user IDs, and organizational roles.

Chainalysis says it has found no evidence that passwords, MFA secrets, session tokens, or sensitive investigation data were compromised.

The company says the attack is unrelated to the recent $6 billion Binance hack.

A brutal year for Bitcoin is just getting started.

Give me three minutes to explain why you should dump it now.

Outflows from ETFs are signal and will continue.

We will test the 57k low again in the next 12 months.

Why?

Because there are far too many dynamic places to put your money that are creating MUCH more value.

Why put your resources into a dead network that offers nothing beyond a store of value?

What's the point of place the BTC be if Bitcoin's Ponzi-scheme nature has gone away!?!

The viral nature of bitcoin was it's power... if you didn't own you were MOCKED!

Now? Completely reasonable, heck, SMARTER, to ignore bitcoin and place other bets!

No one is trying to convince people to buy Bitcoin anymore... the memes and NFTs are gone.

No one is saying $ BTC can change the world, because it won't — and BECAUSE AI HAS!

Just sell and shift from Bitcoin to Super Intelligence because one provides little to no value, and the other provides unlimited upside for humanity.

This should be obvious to everyone right now.

Bitcoin will never break its all-time high again.

Bitcoin will never break its all-time high again." — Jason Calacanis

Jason, I'll bet you $1,000,000 it will break its ATH. Here are the terms:

Bitcoin hits or exceeds $126,210.50 on or before October 28, 2028, 12PM PST

I’m happy to trust you to pay or if you prefer we can each escrow the dollars with independent party.

The bet is either settled when Bitcoin hits the ATH or on October 28, 2028.

@jason Do we have a bet?

Together with

Finally, a Monday that doesn’t feel like one.

Imagine a Saturday where you're not catching up on the CRM you didn't touch all week.

HubSpot's new self-updating CRM doesn't wait for you to log back in. Friday's calls are already logged. The deal that needs a nudge Monday morning is already flagged. The automation you set up once keeps running without you thinking about it. None of it needed you over the weekend.

Customers are already seeing it pay off: 45% more deals closed. Finally, you start Monday caught up, not behind.
