Fed Set for First Warsh-Era Rate Hike as Inflation Pressure Builds
Markets are heavily leaning toward a quarter-point Federal Reserve hike on Wednesday after hotter August inflation and renewed oil pressure above $100. For bitcoin, that keeps the near-term macro backdrop tight by reinforcing higher yields and a stronger dollar hurdle for risk assets.

Senate Unveils Final Clarity Draft After Trump Accepts Tougher Crypto Ethics Rules
Senate Republicans released what they called the final Clarity Act text ahead of Tuesday’s cloture vote, folding in 126 substantive Democratic-requested changes and tougher ethics language Trump accepted. The draft also adds a Treasury circuit breaker on stablecoin rewards, making this the most important U.S. crypto policy development in the window.

AI Slowdown Warnings Hit Tech Stocks and Darken Broader Risk Sentiment
Tech stocks slid after leading AI executives called for a slower pace of model development, while Brent crude pushed above $108 and added to broader market pressure. For bitcoin, the key read-through is macro: if the AI-led equity complex weakens, overall risk appetite can deteriorate quickly.

Strategy repurchased about $139 million of STRC preferred shares last week and again left its bitcoin balance unchanged. With 845,050 BTC still on the books, even a no-buy week from the biggest corporate holder remains notable for treasury-trade watchers.

Blu Dot surpasses 2,000% ROAS with self-serve CTV ads

Home furniture brand Blu Dot blew up on CTV with help from Roku Ads Manager. Here’s how:

After a test campaign reached 211,000 households and achieved 1,010% ROAS, the brand went all in to promote its annual sales event. It removed age and income constraints to expand reach and shifted budget to custom audiences and retargeting, where intent was strongest.

The results speak for themselves. As Blu Dot increased their investment by 10x, ROAS jumped to 2,308% and more page-view conversions surpassed 50,000.

“For CTV campaigns, Roku has been a top performer,” said Claire Folkestad, Paid Media Strategist, Blu Dot. “Comping to our other platforms, we have seen really strong ROAS… and highly efficient CPMs, lower than any other CTV partner we've worked with.”

Using Roku Ads Manager, the campaign moved from a pilot to a permanent performance engine for the brand.

🇺🇸 BREAKING: Senate Republicans release new Clarity Act text, their “LAST, BEST AND FINAL” offer ahead of Tuesday’s crucial cloture vote, per Eleanor Terrett.

The latest text revises DeFi-related provisions to the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act (BRCA), Stablecoin Yield and the “Ag. title,” while keeping the key ethics negotiations at the center of the debate.

- Ethics: Trump has agreed to roughly 80% of the Tillis-Gallego proposal, including requiring covered officials to divest substantial crypto interests or place them in a blind trust. State attorneys general would also gain enforcement authority.

- BRCA: Republicans are narrowing protections around the Bank Secrecy Act and civil enforcement, with broader criminal-case protections reportedly removed from the proposal.

- Stablecoin Yield: Negotiators are still battling over safeguards against stablecoins pulling deposits away from community banks, with a potential “circuit breaker” under discussion.

- Agriculture Title: The revised language adds tighter guardrails around vertical integration, affiliate trading and conflicts involving digital-commodity exchanges, brokers and dealers, while clarifying that state consumer-protection laws remain intact.

The Senate needs 60 votes to advance the bill on Tuesday, making this the latest attempt to win enough Democratic support before the vote.

The Fed’s interest rate decision is Wednesday.

The chances of a rate hike are still around 86.5%. I’m honestly nervous about this one.

I’m hoping that, despite the hike, we see money rotate out of AI and tech and flow into crypto, especially with the Clarity Act developments. If the stock market takes a hit, maybe crypto finally gets some of that liquidity.
